Yeomiji Botanical Gardens
Opened in 1989, it is the finest and largest botanical garden in Asia. There are approx. 2,000 speices of rare plants and native trees and 1,700 more common types of flowers and trees. The outdoor botanical gardens include traditional gardens of 4 countries and various theme parks. If you ascend to the 38m high observation tower by elevator, you will have a bird's eye view of the Jungmun Tourism Complex., Cheonjeyeon Waterfall, and even Mara Island far out to sea.
Cheonjiyeon Waterfall
The 3-tier cascade waterfall and the surrounding area are so mysteriously beautiful that it has been named the ¡°Pond of Heaven's Emperor. The legend says that 7 nymphs who were had maids of the Emperor descended from heaven in the middle of the night to bathe in the pool. It is one of the three most famous waterfall s on Jeju Island, a long with Cheonjiyeon and Jeonbang waterfall. There is an arched bridge above the pond named Seonimkyo with the figures of 7 maidens sculpted on it. The water is extremely clean and flows to the sea.

Seopjikoji looks like it is a natural stone exhibition with unusual rock formations. It is the set of the TV series "All In" and grew in fame as the location of the movies "Eye at Dawn" and "Danjeokbiyeonsu"

Seongsan Sunrise Peak is located at the Seongsan Port. Surronded by 99 small and big rocks the top of the crater looks like a splendid crown floating upon the dark blue ocean. The sunrise scene is among the 10 most beautiful scenic views on Jeju Island. It is one of the foremost tourist attractions on Jeju Island because of the scenic view while you climb to the peak.

The Yakcheon Temple means ¡°Temple where medicinal water flows¡± The temple with the largest Buddhist statue in Asia; it is renowned for mysterical stories about the medicinal water. The medicinal water source that continually furnishes water to the pond still remains. Many Buddhists stop in to drink this water.
