  • How to Submit:

July 1, 2007: Deadline for Submission of a Short Summary of Your Poster
Because a limited number of poster boards are available, a pre-selection based on the innovativeness of ideas and relevance to the theme of the conference will be made. In order to select posters which will be exhibited at the conference, we will need a short summary of your poster, briefly outlining the initial idea that will be further elaborated on the final poster.
The summary should be in text format (up to 500 words) and pictures of your robot (JPEG, 640X480 pixels, 144dpi, RGB, free to vertical and horizontal proportion, up to 5 images, Less than 3M byte). The summary should provide sufficient details about the objectives, the concept, the size and appearance of the robot, and functionalities as well as communicative and interactive abilities.
The summary should be sent by e-mail to ro-con07@kaist.ac.kr. Only the picture should be attached as a file. The text should not be attached, but written in the e-mail.

July 10, 2007: Notification of the Poster Acceptance
The entries selected to compete will be notified by 10 July 2007 regarding the availability of the poster space and the acceptance of their proposal.

August 26 to 29, 2007 (during the Ro-Man 2007 conference):
Exhibition of Posters and Announcement of the Best Posters

The selected posters will be on display during the conference.
Among the exhibited posters, the three best posters will be announced at the conference, and their designers will have an opportunity to present their work to the IEEE RO-MAN 2007 audience.
